Who is Stathgar?

I'm an ambitious computer programmer, musician, and artist with way too dang many hobbies. I love to create things and entertain people, and nothing energizes me like good music.

Where did the name come from?

I wanted to write a book involving nonhuman races that wouldn't speak English, so I began designing a language for them. At some point I made a list of proper names fitting with the style and syllables of the language, and Stathgar was my favorite. When a Google search told me the name was completely unique (zero search results) I decided to take it for myself!

Where can I get more of your music?

Although I've begun work on at least 143 different songs, very few are finished and most of those need to be revamped. I have no official releases and none of my music is for sale, but I do plan on slowly building up an album of finished songs I can be proud of. For now, the "listen" page on this website is the best place to look.
